PRAY, HOPE & DON'T WORRY

A very warm welcome to the Padre Pio & Me website I designed this site to give details of Our Padre Pio prayer group based in Crossbridge, Co. Wicklow  Ireland and the pilgrimage to San Giovanni Rotondo which I run Annually and also I will keep you upto date with Padre Pio events around the country and I also to share stories of intersession from around Ireland and the world and I also tell how I got involved with Padre Pio, People have  often ask me how I got involved in spreading devotion to this great Italian Saint,  I always say "By Accident". My story had been published in Padre Pio: The Irish Connection, this book is a must have must read for any Padre Pio devotee with all the stories of Padre Pio intercession from troughout  Ireland I hope you  enjoy this Site and please email me if you have a story which involves Padre Pio which I will publish on this site and in our prayer group newsletter.

The Sacred Heart & St.Pio Prayer Group

Our prayer group began on 23rd September 2008 on the 40th Anniversary of the Death of St. Pio in the church of St. Peter & St.Paul in Crossbridge, Co. Wicklow. Our Spiritual Director is Fr.Donal Berney C.C of the Tinahely Parish in the Diocese of Ferns. The group meets on the 1st Friday of the month at 7.10pm which begins with the Holy Rosary and Confessions followed by Mass which includes saying of the Efficious Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the prayer to St.Pio and after mass we have Blessing with a 2nd Class Bandage Relic from the side wound of St.Pio after mass, we have a monthly newsletter which gives us insight to the life of St. Pio, Intercessions and information about other Saints.

Prayer to Saint Pio

O God, You gave Saint Pio of Pietrelcina, capuchin priest, the great privilege of participating in a unique way in the passion of Your Son, grant me through his intercession the grace of .......... which I ardently desire; and above all grant me the grace of living in conformity with the death of Jesus, to arrive at the glory of the resurrection. Glory be to the Father ...(three times)

 

 Padre Pio: The Irish Connection

Padre Pio was a stigmatic, mystic and wonder-worker, and he is arguably Ireland’s favourite Saint.Compiled by award-winning journalist Colm Keane, this is a remarkable collection of stories is crammed full of miracles & cures, attributed to Padre Pio’s intercession. EFFICACIOUS NOVENA TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS 

I. O my Jesus, you have said: "Truly I say to you, ask and it will be given you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you". Behold I knock, I seek and ask for the grace of.....:

Our Father.... Hail Mary .... Glory be to the Father.... Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you. 

II. O my Jesus, you have said: "Truly I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father in my name; He will give it to you". Behold, in your name, I ask the Father for the grace of... 

Our Father.... Hail Mary .... Glory be to the Father.... Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you. 

III. O my Jesus, you have said: "Truly I say to you, heaven and earth will pass away but my words will not pass away". Encouraged by your infallible words I now ask for the grace of.... 

Our Father.... Hail Mary .... Glory be to the Father.... Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in you.

O Sacred Heart of Jesus, for whom it is impossible not to have compassion on the afflicted, have pity on us miserable sinners and grant us the grace which we ask of you, through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, your tender mother and ours. 

Say the Hail, Holy Queen and add: St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus, pray for us.
